I wanted to do something that was focused on patient care. Thought briefly about maybe going to medical school, but I was really interested in what my dad was doing in watching him over the summer and kind of seeing the improvements that he could make in people's lives. So that's why I chose to go into dental school.
As a dentist, I really enjoy the challenges because every day there's a different thing that comes, you know, in the door. Really helping patients with all the different problems they can have with their teeth, helping them become, you know, healthy and confident in their smiles, and just the different variety of things we're able to do as general dentists is what excites me the most about dentistry.
I certainly want my patients to feel comfortable when they come to see me. I don't want there to be any barriers to their care, and I hope that when they're talking with me about their dental treatments, that they're putting their confidence in what I'm recommending.
